Day 1 | Arrival in Milan – Transfer to Bolzano, South Tyrol
Please arrive at Milan or Venice Airport by 12:00 PM. From there, take a scenic bus ride (approximately 4–5 hours) through the picturesque Italian countryside to Bolzano, the capital of South Tyrol. This charming town blends German and Italian cultures and serves as the gateway to the Dolomites. Upon arrival, meet your guide and fellow travelers, check in to a local boutique hotel, and prepare for the upcoming trek.

Day 2 | Warm-up Hike in Val di Funes – Santa Maddalena & Odle Group Panorama
Today features a gentle warm-up hike through the alpine meadows and forests of Val di Funes. We will pass through the picturesque village of Santa Maddalena, known for its traditional Tyrolean architecture and the majestic Odle Group as a backdrop.
We’ll pause in front of the iconic Santa Maddalena Church for breathtaking views—this spot is considered the “postcard front cover” of the Alps. Along the way, we will see rustic farmhouses and viewpoints, and enjoy a restful break in a traditional mountain hut.

Day 3 | Seceda Ridge Hike – Ortisei
Starting from Ortisei, we’ll ascend gradually through forest trails and reach the summit ridge of Seceda after approximately 3–4 hours. Once on the ridge, we’ll hike along the dramatic ridgeline overlooking the entire Val Gardena.
Seceda is one of the most visually stunning ridgelines in the Dolomites. Its knife-edge peaks slicing into the sky are a dream for outdoor photographers. Unlike taking the cable car, reaching the summit on foot gives a true sense of reward and awe.

Day 4 | Ortisei – Alpe di Siusi (Seiser Alm)
From Ortisei, we’ll hike through Mont Seuc Forest to reach Alpe di Siusi, the largest alpine meadow in Europe.
Alpe di Siusi offers a gentler side of the Dolomites—rolling pastures, wildflowers, and wooden huts with a view of Sassolungo and Sciliar massifs. The landscape is soothing and wide open, ideal for immersion in the Alpine countryside. Summer brings bursts of color and postcard-perfect scenery.

Day 5 | Val Gardena – Passo Gardena – Catinaccio Range
We’ll start early and ascend toward Passo Gardena, traversing alpine pastures and panoramic ridgelines. From there, we’ll continue to Passo Sella, then transfer by vehicle into the heart of the Catinaccio Range (Rosengarten in German).
This range is steeped in Ladin legend—a mythical rose garden once enchanted by love and war. At sunset, the mountains glow rose-pink, a real phenomenon called "Alpenglow," revered by photographers.
This stage connects iconic Val Gardena with the hidden gem of Catinaccio. These high mountain passes mark the transition into the more remote, wild heart of the Dolomites.

Day 6 | Traverse the Mountains – To Cortina d’Ampezzo
We begin from the magical Lago di Antermoia, deep within the Catinaccio mountains. Descend via Passo Dona and the lush Duron Valley, passing through forest and open highlands to the village of Campitello.
This day marks the final segment of the Rosengarten traverse. We’ll leave behind Alpine lakes and legend-steeped peaks. With cowbells echoing and sunlight dappling the trail, it’s like walking through the end of a fairytale. From the valley floor, we transfer to Cortina d’Ampezzo to prepare for the eastern Dolomites.

Day 7 | Cinque Torri Hike – WWI History
Choose to hike or take a cable car to the Cinque Torri area. This scenic loop around five towering rock formations includes access to WWI historical relics—trenches, bunkers, and mountain shelters carved into the stone.
This day offers not just scenery, but also tangible history. It’s a lighter day in terms of effort, with flexible routes suitable for all levels.

Day 8 | Tre Cime di Lavaredo Loop – Lago di Misurina
Starting from Lago di Misurina, we follow Rinbianco Valley or Trail 101 to Rifugio Auronzo and begin the iconic loop around the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
These three vertical rock towers are the very symbol of the Dolomites. Circumnavigating them offers changing perspectives on their austere beauty. Along the way, enjoy glaciers, mountain lakes, and highland pastures.

With turquoise waters and mirrored peaks, this isn’t a physical challenge—it’s a farewell moment, capturing the soft, romantic side of the Dolomites before we return to daily life. Afterwards, transfer to Milan or Venice for departure.
