Day 1 | Geneva – Chamonix
Arrive in Geneva (recommended by 16:00). Transfer via shuttle bus to Chamonix, the alpine town known as the cradle of European outdoor adventure.
Check into your hotel in Les Houches, a quiet village in the Chamonix Valley. Relax, explore the village, or shop for gear to prepare for the trek.
Day 2 | Lac Blanc – Le Tour
Meet at 9:30 AM. After a route briefing, take the Flégère cable car to 2,300 m for sweeping views of the Mont Blanc massif.
Hike toward Lac Blanc, descend via Col des Montets and Aiguilles Rouges Nature Reserve to Montroc and Le Tour.
Enjoy a rustic dinner in an alpine chalet.

Day 3 | Le Tour – Trient
Climb the Posettes trail to Col de Balme (2,200 m), a wide mountain pass on the French–Swiss border.
Marvel at the Argentière and Tour glaciers before descending into Swiss pastures to the village of Trient.

Day 4 | Col Ferret – Val Ferret, Italy
Climb to Col Ferret (2,537 m), crossing from Switzerland into Italy. Pass scenic Alpage de La Peule.
Trek into the Italian Val Ferret, ending near Pré de Bar Glacier.

Day 5 | Mont de la Saxe – Courmayeur
From Arminaz ranch, hike across Mont de la Saxe with panoramic views of Mont Blanc, Mont Dolent, Aiguille Triolet, and the Grandes Jorasses.
Descend via Col Sapin and reach Courmayeur, then transfer to a mountain lodge.

Day 6 | Col de la Seigne – Le Manthe or Chapiers
Ascend Val Veny past Lake Miage to Col de la Seigne (France–Italy border).

Day 7 | Beaufort – Les Contamines – Les Houches
Trek via alpine pastures, waterfalls, and Col du Bonhomme (2,329 m), a historic merchant route.

Day 8 | Col de la Seigne – Les Mottets
Ascend via Lake Miage to Col de la Seigne. Optionally cross Col Chécroui and Mont Fortin, arriving at an alpine refuge.

Day 9 | Col du Bonhomme – Les Contamines
Descend past Col du Bonhomme and Notre Dame de la Gorge, walking along ancient Roman trade paths.

Day 10 | Bionnassay Glacier – Col du Tricot – Les Houches
Ascend via Champel or Col du Tricot (2,120 m). Enjoy stunning views of the Dômes de Miage, Chamonix Valley, and Mont Blanc.
Descend to Les Houches for a festive dinner to celebrate completing the full TMB loop.

The Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) is the abbreviation of Tour du Mont Blanc, which is unanimously regarded as a world-class hiking route by mountaineers. Its mountain range spans the borders of France, Switzerland and Italy.
The Alps are low in altitude but can form permanent glaciers and year-round snow. While avoiding altitude sickness, you can enjoy the scenery of snowy mountains and glaciers, alpine hiking culture and European customs.
